Enjoy the winter months in the High Atlas. Morocco's mountains are a paradise for snow climbers and ski fans. We start most of our ski-tours at the Toubkal-Hut (3,200m / 10,499ft). Our itinerary starts at Imlil (1,900m). We ascend the well-defined mule trail above the eastern side of the Assif Reraya to the hamlet and shrine of Sidi Chamhorough (2,200m / 7,218ft). From here we can usually continue in the snow to the Toubkal-Hut (3,200m / 10,499ft). The mules which carry our baggage from Imlil will return here as they cannot continue in the snow. Our baggage will now be carried by local people.

: Arrive in Marrakech. Transfer to the hotel in the centre of the city.You can spend the afternoon visiting Marrakech.

: Imlil - Oukaimeden - Tachddirt. Departure early in the morning to the trailhead at Oukaimeden, which is also the highest ski resort in North Africa. Once on our skis the route takes us over Tizi'n Eddi (2928m) followed by a descent into the Tachddirt valley and the villages of Tameguist and Tachddirt (2250 m). Stay overnight in the village. Duration: 4-6 hours

: Tachddirt - Tizi n'Likemt - Imlil. Ascent of Tizi'n Likemt (3615 m) followed by a stunning descent. Mules will be waiting for us at the foot of the mountains for the interesting trek over the Col de Tamatert (2279 m) to M'Zik (1750 m). Views en-route of the mountain oasis at Imlil. Stay overnight in the village. Duration: 5-8 hours

: Imlil - Toubkal Refuge. A long uphill day, walking and skiing to the Toubkal hut (3100m). Overnight at the hut. Duration: 4-7 hours

: Refuge - Summit - Refuge. Toubkal ascent (4167 m). This is the highest mountain in North Africa and with clear weather the panoramic views from the summit are just astonishing. Return to the hut via the same route. Duration: 5-7 hours

: Refuge - Tizi n'Tadat - Refuge Lepiney. The beautiful ski traverse and ascent of Tizi'n Tadat (3600 m) offers great panoramic views. This is followed by an excellent descent to Tazarharht hut (3300m). Night in the hut. Duration: 5-8 hours

: Refuge Lepiney - Tizi Mzik - Imlil. Early start for the ascent of Tazarharht (3980 m). Return to the hut and ski down to M'zik and Imlil where you will overnight in a guesthouse. Duration: 6-8 hours.

: Transfer to Marrakech.
